Local is obviously nice but finding a local 50K sq ft grocery store, which is what the city wants, isn't like finding a local restaurant or coffee shop. Should positive development be stymied for lack of a local alternative? The uber-PC Monroe st. neighborhood hasn't shunned the Aldi-owned Trader Joe's.
Nobody seems to care that Google is moving into the 700 block. Talk about a non-local, possibly less-than-well-meaning company..
