KwikTrip on Gammon Road?

Postby Justcub » Tue May 01, 2007 1:22 am

The Kwik Trip on Gammon Road is CLOSED! WHY??

I was there on Thursday getting a MegaBuddy Soda and some cigarettes. Overheard a manager talking to a vendor about an upcoming order. all seemed normal.
Not sure I drove past it on Friday.
Know for sure I didnt pass it on Saturday or Sunday.
Drove by tonight on my way home.
And it was closed. Dumpsters in the parking lot, with store fixtures in it, the safe was even out there. Signs saying it was KwikTrip all covered or removed. Gas Pumps taken out... and all the sign on the door said on Poster board was "SORRY WE ARE CLOSED"

Uhm why? What happened there?
WHERE AM I GONNA GET MY MEGABUDDY?

No seriiously, anybody know what the story is on this?

Thanks
JC

Maybe it's temporary until they get new signs with it spelled right.

Yup. Mobil pumps are already in. I bet they just slap on some new signage and try to re-open asap.

That's some sketchy attribution there, Learned. Let's keep this very important discussion on the tip top of journalistic standards.

My bad. I assumed that the Bear and the Cub were family members.

I guess it would depend on one's definition of "family".
Do I know of "bear" and are we related by blood, no.
Do I think we probably have some other attributes of our personality in common, you betcha.

Morty from Cottage Grove, you're next up on Station Scene.

"Yeah, hey, first time long time, Frank. I've got beef, literally, with the BP on Highway MP that seems to have not only stopped serving hot dogs, but actually dismantled their roller and replaced it with a cappucino machine. What gives?"

Great question, Morty. We'll get to that issue right after this word from Q Superettes!

I just read a BP head, in Britain, is quitting because his gayness is being made public. I don't get it. So what?

I was always under the impression that all Brits were at least a little gay? No?
