Dalai Lama tickets?

Postby Handy Smurf » Wed Apr 25, 2007 5:05 pm

Anybody got a couple that they won't be using? My 8th grade daughter really wanted to see him but I waited too long to call for tickets.

you didn't wait too long to call, you needed to have waited in line like the rest of us. they sold out at the ticket office day of sale.

though you should check craigslist, i saw some for sale not too long ago.

I wonder how bad the Karma would be if you scalped tickets at a big profit?

i was thinking of getting some extra tix and selling them on Ebay, but thought it would be bad taste. I'd probably come bask as a damn earwig. Plus I've never sold anything on Ebay before--I'd mess it up somehow.

You could always stand outside of the Kohl Center holding a hand-painted sign that says, "Where's My Miracle?"

"Will painstakingly create mandala art from individual grains of colored sand for tickets"

Sorry, I don't have any spares, but this is as good a place as any to say "yay! I'm going!"

I'll extinguish my earthly desires on May 5.

I saw a book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Buddhism, at B&N the other day. I thought it would be funny if, after the whole book, there was one page at the end that read, "Next time, don't buy this book."

A friend has The Complete Idiot's Guide to Reaching Your Goals.
