That's right ... but please do keep your wheels straight while you wait for an opening to make your turn. If you are sitting there with your wheels already turned to the left, and someone hits your vehicle from behind, you can end up rolling into the oncoming traffic. What would have been a minor fender-bender can suddenly become a lethal, high-speed collision.
