Let's all Rally for a Brooks Brothers clothing store in the Hilldale Redevelopment!

Send an email to Brooks Brothers to ask them to consider opening a new store in the Hilldale Development!

I can hardly wait until they announce the new anchor for the north end of the mall.

I'm not against it, but Brooks Brothers is pretty far down my list of things to rally for.

Actually that's an "I wish!" more than hope. They don't have any stores outside of Canada and probably won't for many years.

I LOVE Lee Valley! I've never actually built anything myself, but I'm making a garden bench sometime this summer. They have the best cabinetry handles. I even use their little round containers in the silver cases as my spice rack. They take up so little space that way.

Kohl's, Target, a great deli, Cosmetic store, I'm glad to hear about University Book Store's enlargement there. I can't seem to stay out of there. Must keep away from the art supplies.

Why don't we lobby for a Hills Brothers in Brookdale?

I mean, while we're at it ...

From what I understand, it's an interesting store. They only have one of everything on the shelves out front. You look at everything and make a list, then you hand the list to a friendly clerk who takes your list out to the warehouse, then you go to another counter where you get your stuff. Then you check everything for defects, which is basically a ceremony because there hardly ever are.

I bought their scraper and scrub planes. They're a joy to use.
But that probably only matters to other neandertool user. :-)

I wonder what a rally of Brooks Brothers patrons would look like.

I still want a Crate and Barrel. Can someone tell me how we rate one of the first H&Ms outside a major city and still not qualify for a Crate and Barrel in a tailor-made location?

*pout*
