Gableman seat open

Postby Shorty » Tue Mar 21, 2017 4:01 pm

i see Annette Ziegler is running unopposed for Supreme Court re-election on the April 4 ballot. Why isn't there a Democrat to oppose her? Have they given up on Supreme court?

In a word, yes. They don't have the candidates, nor the money to outspend the Republican donors who pay for these Supreme Court seats.

I already voted. Not a bad idea as a protest. I just didn't vote for a SC justice.

Zeigler got a free pass. Now there will be an open seat.

Gableman just announced he won't run for re-election. I hope candidates not bought and paid for by the Koch brothers or WMC will be on the ballot.

Something's gotta give. The court's been listing too far right for far to long. Likewise with the legislative body. I can't believe that people are happy with what's happened in the state.

Of course you can't. Perhaps when it is more like Venezuela here.

First Republican enters. Doesn't look old enough to be a judge.

Sauk County Judge Screnock will run for Supreme Court
