I did some remodeling that enabled my household to cut its water usage by nearly half. My water utility bill, however, did not go down by nearly that much. Why is that? Shouldn't water conservation efforts be rewarded by a commensurate reduction in one's bill?
Please discuss the Kipp pollution as it affects east side wells. If the pollution reaches a well, can it be filtered out or is the well useless? What are the chances of this happening? Are there ways to prevent it? If we have to take more wells out of use, how does this affect the availability of water for the east side?
