Walker to announce new jobs bills

Will this provide the quarter million new jobs that he promised by the end of his term? Only time will tell.

Unless Walker has a quarter million friends, we'll never see those jobs here.

changes in licensing requirements for some professions overseen by the Department of Safety and Professional Services

Not sure how this creates more jobs but unless change means tightening the requirements it seems like a really bad idea.

I wonder if it will be abortions or getting rid of private sector unions that will bring jobs this time.

Selling off the state to the lowest bidder, starting with the Penokee Hills.

Now, with Walker's next election a little more than a year away, and the latest census job numbers due out later this week, Walker is highlighting a different metric.

http://news.wpr.org/post/walker-starts- ... ob-numbers

What was wrong with the old metric?
Thursday will be the first chance people get to see how Wisconsin's employer census numbers – the hard job count – compare to other states through the end of March. The numbers Wisconsin sent to the federal government were the state's worst for that period in the past three years.

He's just cribbing from the President - he's looking forward, not backward!
The past was inconvienient, so he started fibbing about the present, and then the present became inconvenient, so it's time to start fibbing about the future. The man is good, and if any of those other people think he's running for vice-president, they're fooling themselves.

Two competing headlines from madison.com:

New WMC ad: Scott Walker has created 'hundreds of jobs, thousands of jobs'

New data rank Wisconsin 34th in private-sector job creation

Which of those two more accurately reflects Walker's promise to create jobs?

Now let's guess at which of those two messages will be seen and believed by more Wisconsinites.

"Wisconsin ranks 2nd in the U.S. in economic growth potential".

Hey, I don't know about you guys, but every time someone tells me that I've got really great potential, they're actually commenting on what a pathetic underachiever I am.

Awe, thanks dawg. Kitty is just fine, but she likes to follow me around when I get home from work and even sits under my computer chair. Yeah, like hardwood floor, executive leather chair on wheels, cat's tail tucked neatly under one wheel. This can't end well.

Cats are fast. Hence the phrase "cat-like reflexes".

Good. That is one lucky cat.

Dawg,
I doubt you missed what PJ was getting after, but you 'act' otherwise.
Regardless, I need to ask you what method of meditation you find most valuable. It has been suggested that finding meditation is important by yourself and others. So, I am dangling over this notion.
What say you?

Saw the commercial in question during the news tonight - the graphic on the screen says "2nd in economic growth potential" but the voiceover says, swear to fucking god, "2nd in economic growth", leaving out the "potential" part of the statement.

What a bunch of dirtbags.

including all the natural resources:
The head of the state Senate Natural Resources Committee wants to make it easier to drill or replace so-called high-capacity water wells and head off stricter regulation in the future.
