Updated: Stu Levitan responds RE: robocall confirmation

Postby Rich Schultz » Sun Jun 10, 2012 9:35 pm

"Confirmed -- robo-calls going out, telling people that if they signed recall petition, it counts tomorrow and they don't need to vote.

Will our GOP and RW friends acknowledge this is despicable and should be prosecuted?

Topic: New Pro-Walker Voter Suppression

I acknowledge this should be prosecuted, what about you, Stu? Have you provided this information to the proper authorities? Please don't let this slide, after all you claim to have confirmation of this despicable act, apparently nobody else does so you could really help out here Mr. Levitan. Is there some reason you don't want to share this info, national security perhaps? Your continued silence might leave the impression that you were trying to influence an election with poppycock and horse manure.

"The silence is telling."

This coming from a guy who claims it's a fact that Obama wrote his own bio claiming he was born in Kenya.

You're a clown, Rich. No one takes you seriously. Stu probably has you on ignore.

There sure does seem to be a lot of silence in a certain political sector. Ain't that a trip? The new media is all about the DEMOCRATIZATION of information, decentralizing the flow from a very tiny minority that turned out to be our filters of information.

So where does that leave things? IMO, it shows how sheltered and protected the left has been from any actual discussion/debate on, well, pretty much anything not lock step in their worldview/ideology.

So, with the liberation of information, will the left survive or will they become extinct, little more than faded green dinosaurs?

They are falling like flies--so I guess let's see if they can adapt to "change".

Authors write their bios PJ, could be Obama was the exception, more likely you have been played.

You're right, Rich. I don't get it. Actually, I guess I was the one who said that, as you pointed out.

I don't get you. I don't understand why a man who's capable of stringing reasonable ideas together would be such a pathetic propagandist. Are they paying you? When people are starving in the streets, will you celebrate your hard work with a bottle of champagne? Does your conscience ever question your zealotry? Do you have a conscience?

Are teachers overpaid or are you underpaid?

Do you believe that might equals right? Are Americans inherently superior to other peoples? Are you?

I don't get it. I'm willing to admit that. You make no sense to me. Cornbread makes sense to me... he's stupid. What's your excuse?

What's so hard to understand? Mr. Levitan claims he has confirmation. Why is he withholding it? Simple question.

If you need deep psychological analysis for your problems there are plenty of expensive professionals in Madison that would be happy to help.

I will never in my life regret trying to be a good person. You can prove me wrong 100 times and I'll always be able to say that my intentions were noble.

Can you say the same?

Thank you for your response Mr. Levitan. It will be interesting to see if this story develops.

I'm still skeptical and don't think five versions of the same Barrett press release is confirmation, but that's nitpicking, "confirmed" may have been a stronger word than Mr. Levitan intended but I'm not innocent of that myself.

The phone call seems too ridiculous to be true, if it was a genuine effort to suppress the vote it would have to be one of the most incompetent efforts ever.
Although the bus loads of union voters coming from Detroit ranks right up there. They both sound like urban legends that we are a little to eager to believe.
PJ probably feels the same way about the Kenya reference on the brochure, but the brochure actually exists. I have yet to see a picture of the busses or heard a recording of the phone calls.

PJ, You may be confusing noble with self righteous.

obama and his group played millions of people like fools. I know some of them and they're feeling quite foolish now. I didn't vote for obams, but couldn't blame some of his voters as they truly did "believe" and truly did want "change". They were conned and most have realized it.

The Madison Left appears to have most of the world on "ignore".
And how's that working out?

Except this sector, but I'm still undecided about the left. They are a minority position (and always have been), I'd say 10% at most. In their ranks there are also the people that were fooled by their lies/omissions, but there are also very dishonest (liars) out for control and domination, the "by any means necessary" types. I think zerobams and his cadre are these people.

Did you know it's so against human nature to admit they're wrong?
It is. And humans will go to amazing great lengths to admit they were wrong and the longer they're wrong, the harder it is to admit it. Throw in the emotional investment (children, women, etc.) and it makes it even harder because then they'd have to admit they were not only conned, but emotionally played.

Now, back to our war on women. I think I'll parachute on top of the YWCA in madison today. Anyone know how much rope I'll need to rappel down the sides?

Then just always be aware that there are people and political organizations that will attempt to use your 'caring' to their advantage.

OK, so today I think I'll not continue our "war on women". I'll take a day off from the slaughter.
Anyone know if we're still "attacking families"?

Ah yes, the power of the tiny AP. When there's a significant event/date, I'd see the same story (even pictures) in a handful of different papers in different states. And these dead trees weren't even owned by the same business, or even corporation, like snoqueen is.

So a lot of the "news" is little more than a 'story' or editorialized story that's disseminated for the masses to consume.

Pending confirmation:

Tom Barrett's career is over. Tom Barrett's career should be over. In a desperate attempt to gain political advantage, Tom Barrett, on election day, stooped to spreading rumors of unconfirmed pro-Walker attempted vote suppression.

Stu Levitan served as Tom Barrett's errand boy by forwarding those rumors here on TDPF: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=54930
