Meade isn't a hypocrite. He's a neanderthal conservative who is too cowardly to take a stand on an issue.

But Meade isn't a conservative, nor is he a Republican.

Hypocrisy, thy name is foron.

Okay dumb ass. You do know the wtdy stuff is, well, old news. Is this all you right wingers got?! I have the impression that you think you have talent, I have no reason to doubt this. Perhaps it would be better applied to constructive purposes, as opposed to subtractive ones. Very irritating, very boring.

The conservative radio host's ratings fell 27 percent in the key 25-54 demo in New York City, 31 percent in Houston-Galveston, 40 percent in Seattle-Tacoma, and 35 percent in Jacksonville, according to a selection of the March 29-April 25 Arbitron ratings provided by an industry source.

Why is this subject about silencing someone (rush limbaugh) linked to a website that wants to "topplebush"?

Is this like the soros sponsored 'move on.org' that was started to help president clinton during his impeachment, yet now, somehow still exists and is very very politically active in attacking people/businesses?

Not that it would do much good. Rush says and does any fucking thing he wants with no consequences. No negative ones, anyway.

He's not just slick. He's invincible. Nothing touches him. Absolutely nothing.

That's what I said last March.

Turns out I was wrong.

Turns out, advertisers have been staying away in droves and the code of silence prevailed. They thought it was a bump they'd get over and carry on. Now they're beginning to see it as a paradigm change and people are starting to talk.

Huh.

Rush Limbaugh and his fiery conservative viewpoints won’t be on WRKO airwaves for local Boston listeners in the coming future....

News-talk radio stations have struggled to attract national advertisers in recent years, partly as a result of liberal activist opposition to controversial comments made by conservative hosts, The Wall Street Journal reported in February.

Yeah, one of these days...so real it will be surreal.

I think I posted this in the wrong spot. I wasn't really so concerned about the boycott side of things, but rather that Limbaugh is being dropped from a big market. I thought I recalled Francis and Henry (Frank and Hank! [sorry... :shifty: ]) debating about that very issue and Limbaugh's ratings, but damned if I could find that discussion.

Tim Morissey made a similar point about Limbaugh's ratings a while back.

Rush continues to spiral downward. The conglomerate actually had to switch one of its Boston Spanish-speaking stations over to all talk so they'd have a place to put him in Boston. And it's not strong enough to cover the whole metro area.

I hope he's making contingencies for when his income drops to only a couple million a year instead of the fifty he's making while he spirals downward.
