Irrelevant.

Dangerousman, you have earned your name. Your command of fact and logic is very dangerous on a Forum like this. Take care!

Why concealed carry?
A man walking in the 6200 block of Raymond Road Tuesday afternoon was punched and his cell phone stolen by a gang of 5 to 8 teens. In the afternoon! (Here is the report.)

Concealed carry, which is now in effect, did nothing to prevent or ward off this attack.

How can a quest for knowledge ever be irrelevant?

Oh, never mind, I just realized who I was responding to.

You'd only consider it condescending if you're feeling inferior for some reason. Given the general lack of respect by posters on here, calling people "boys and girls" is rather low on the list of offenses in my opinon.

By the way, did you respond when somebody called Blaska "dipshit?" Looking back, why yes... you did. You added "hypocrite."

So, I guess you consider being called "boys and girls" worse than "dipshit" or "prick." I guess it's all a matter of opinion.

That 5-8 dead teenagers was somehow a better outcome?

Wow fisti, you seem rather blood thirsty. I hope YOU don't plan on carrying a gun.

Well it's a fact that in his second term Obama is going to outlaw all guns, so you won't have to worry about that.

So, I guess you took offense at being called a "well-intentioned advocate". Opinion, indeed.

"well-intentioned advocate"

You misspelled "dangerously obsessed fanatic".

Are you saying that you meant to accuse him of hypocrisy without inferring that he's a hypocrite? How does that work?

And speaking of hypocrisy, you don't find it a little... say... ironic... that in your rant about me calling unspecified people "boys and girls" that you'd call someone a prick? How does that work, jman?

Come on, you're better than that. And smarter.

Good one fisti! But look back and read it again. He was referring to me, not you.

Neither did laws against theft or battery, a multi-million dollar social services network, and all the neighborhood centers and Kool Aid mixers in Meadowood.

Does it help, W., if I explained that just because concealed carry is now legal doesn't make it mandatory? This individual may not have been armed for self-defense. Another example: seat belts ARE mandated by law but the user still must employ them.

Does that help?

Not really, since if his gun was concealed, they likely still would have attacked him.
