Loaded disingenuous question unless you can cite his "promise".

Walker has said since his inauguration that his number one priority was to help create a quarter million new jobs in Wisconsin. Arguing whether or not his number one priority was a promise is a disengenuous quibble on your part.

His promise was to make private sector job creation his number one priority with a goal of 250,000 new jobs by the end of his term. He never "promised" jobs. You are not only disingenuous, you are an outright liar.

Conservative talk show host Jay Weber:

"it seems like hitting your promise of 250,000 jobs created in Term 1 is getting close to undoable or unrealistic. Is it?"

Did Walker stop him and tell him he never made such a promise?

Again, you have nothing but a qibble. Why not comment on his failure to achieve his goal (yes, I know it was to be a four year goal, but he is not even close.) Why is the national growth and those in neighboring states so far ahead of Wisconsin in job creation? Let's see you address that.

Meade likes to call me a liar, but it looks like the shoe is on the other foot.

Nice try, leftists, but I see a whole lot of wiggle room in the above statement.

Scott Walker is no idiot.

He certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to go public with a statement like "By enacting my plan, we will be able to get government out of the way of employers big and small who will then help Wisconsin create 250,000 jobs by 2015, and as we create those new jobs, we will be able to add 10,000 new businesses."

Now would he?

No, Hen V, I don't like to call you a liar but you seem to like to lie. You call it a quibble but the truth is Walker never "promised" to create a single job. On the other hand, he did allow to be posted to his website the article reporting that he "promises to creat 250,000 jobs" so I can understand how you, in your typical disingenuousness, are tempted to lie and call it his "promise".

The unemployment rate in Wisconsin when Walker was elected was about 7.9%. Nationally, it was at about 9.8% and is now around 7.9%. Unemployment in Wisconsin is now at about 6.7%, better than 29 other states and far ahead of neighboring states Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.

He "allowed to be posted"? It's his campaign website, not a message board.

Did Walker ever explicitly utter the word "promise"? Not sure. But he has certainly not refuted the use of that language, and in fact embraced it on his own website. As has the media. The only one here being disingenuous is you.

Add this to the list of familiar distraction tactics:

Pick one magic word, fixate on it, and derail entire conversations by pretending it's important to ascertain when it was first uttered, and by whom.
