Peg Lautenschlager

Prior to her tenure as Wisconsin Attorney General, Peg Lautenschlager served as a United States Attorney, a state legislator, and a district attorney. She has earned recognition for her work in consumer protection, health care issues, environmental litigation and workers' rights.

Daniel Bach

Prior to his tenure as Wisconsin Deputy Attorney General, Daniel Bach served as a federal prosecutor for fourteen years and was an attorney in private practice. He has earned recognition for his work as a litigator in high profile civil and criminal matters.

John A. Lawton and Richard L. Cates formed a partnership in 1958. John Lawton was actively involved with labor law and union work. Dick Cates established the litigation practice.

What's so mysterious about a press release announcing that a former AG and deputy have gone to work at a leading law firm?
