Brenda's Blog - Gender in Local Government

Postby Igor » Mon Apr 30, 2007 11:28 pm

I'm not much of a blog reader, but I did check look at Brenda's site this evening. I noticed this entry: ... -hall.html

In particular, the comparisons of percentages for City, County, and State by gender were interesting. However, the obvious omission was the School District. I suspect that the MMSD has the most lopsided demographics of any of the four (though I don't know were to find the data to say for sure.) Anyone know?

She’s gone and found another crises. Stand by for Inclusionary Staffing (IS) legislation. Wonder if the mayor would put her on the committee to head the resulting governmental body. Probably not since she’s a female and he hates women.
