The head of the stateÃ¢??s Judicial Commission has not said if theyÃ¢??ll investigate alleged conflicts of interest involving Supreme Court candidate Annette Ziegler.
Mark Graul of the Ziegler campaign said the judge could not always inform the litigants of her connection because some cases were handled by mail or phone. Graul also said ZieglerÃ¢??s husband never benefited financially.
But James Alexander of the Judicial Commission says it doesnÃ¢??t matter if money was made or not. He says judges facing conflicts should either step down from the cases, or proceed only after getting the OK from all parties.
