Count yourself lucky that the practice of blood sacrifice under the cornerstone has been largely discarded.

What an oversight! I'd have thought they'd give you the first shot at cutting the ribbon!

I wonder if Fred Mohs's invite went missing as well?

Fred Moh's gone missing? Maybe that old cornerstone practice isn't as discarded as I thought.

I guess it was not a celebration of resisting good change in Madison and promoting narrow minded conservatism. I am sure in the not so distant future we will see Stu hanging out at the Edgewater enjoying himself. Maybe he will acknowledge that he was wrong? My guess is that he won't.

Stu, I believe this song was written about you...

Why would you assume that?

Because you can always find Stu trying to hang out where the movers and shakers of Madison hang out.

So why would he be hanging out at the Edgewater?

Can people fucking stop putting "y's" at the end of politicians names. It makes you sound like your 12.

Not at all. He modestly stayed away so as not to draw attention to the fact that he was right to deny them the TIF money they sought. And didn't need, even though they claimed the project would die without it.

He was right. They were wrong. Deal with it.

I seem to remember that the ground breaking for the Monona terrace kind of just happened w/o opulent fan fare as well. Although, I better buy a boat to cleat off if I want to properly enjoy this difficult to access corner of Madison. Whatever, good on them they found a way to support from the commons other than TIFF.
