The Rains of Castamere

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

The Rains of Castamere

Postby fisticuffs » Mon Jun 03, 2013 8:26 am

Anyone watch? That was the point in the books where I was ready to quit. It was so unexpected and devastating. Martin lures you in with Arya almost reaching her brother and mother after 1500 pages or so apart and then The Red Wedding. HBO has been kicking ass. I think the changes they make have made for better TV but haven't pissed off the readers. Brutally emotional and bloody TV last night. Not sure I've ever seen anything like it.
Now when do we get book 6?

That's been my favorite episode so far -- so much death coming out of nowhere, I was a little bit stunned watching it. I love how this show isn't afraid to kill off main characters.
