STUFF THAT'S LIKE A BURLAP COLONIC

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

Did AV make everyone immune to sarcasm? Good-golly, gee-whiz....please don't take me serious as I am an obnoxious, sarcastic ass.

Mine was sarcasm too. We're good. And believe me the jury's still out as to whether I'm too idiotic to properly raise children. Witness the difficulty I had properly quoting someone's quote.

Wow. For a minute there, this thread was like a burlap colonic.
Or barbed wire benwa balls.
Perhaps ocular Choreboy pads.
Habanero heroin?

Wow. Who'd'a' thunk (and yes, that's incorrect English used deliberately to make a point, as people sometimes do for extra emphasis) that people would get all overly sensitive about posts in a topic about things that are annoying.

Oh, wait...I forgot, this is Madison.

Whoop.
For a second there, I thought your Voice sounded sort of... Alternative.

A new one that rubs me like a burlap colonic: the Miller commercials with the delivery guy who confiscates people's beer.

I guess you haven't seen the new ones, with the mobsters offering protection.

Just the one in the convenience store. Are there more? That one is pretty annoying, but it doesn't irritate me as much as the beer confiscation guy.

There is another set in a bar. And I kinda liked the beer confiscation guy at first, but those ads got old fast.

All the judge shows.
But painful as they may be, I can't stop watching.
So they must be good for me, right?
Horribly beautiful exchange between Judge Pirro and Airforce Amy, a Nevada hooker:

JUDGE PIRRO: "So. You used to defend our country. How does someone go from the Airforce to the um...Bunny Ranch?"

AIRFORCE AMY: "It's only an hour away."

See, this is why I decided against acting as a career.

I mean, can you imagine spending the rest of your life known as 'the beer confiscation guy?'

"Are we having fun yet!?!"

A shiny quarter for anyone who can identify.

Isn't that a lyric from a Nickleback song sung by Zippy the Pinhead in that Fatboy Slim remix for Party Down, aRob Thomas remake of the BBC series?
Wait no, it's what Dwayne says in What's Happening.
Or is it that heroic line from 911?
Didn't Paris Hilton copyright that?

WE HAVIN' FUN YET, WILLIS?

Why might it be related to recent comments re: "being known as the beer confiscation guy"?

This is one of the funnier shows on the TV these days IMO...
