why was my (the) fringe thread deleted?

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

hmm. maybe Jason let the douche-mod over at the "other forum" be moderator for the day here in an exchange program.

Fringe partially encompasses my banned user name which is censored into "some woman" over there. Gee, how original.

It should be pretty clear to anyone who read that thing, and certainly to those who participated in it, that it turned ugly and had no redeeming value. Others have gone missing as well in an attempt to return the boards to their previously attained quality.

actually, it should be pretty clear now to YOU, that no one who was participating in or actually reading that thread actually felt that way, with the exception of, perhaps, you.

and again, if a thread TURNS ugly, why is the entire thread deleted, instead of just the ugliness?

And how about this thread, which was ugly from the get go and completely not on topic with the TV forum?
