Charter HD box?

How can cultural elitists like ourselves put TV in the Culture category? Well, where the hell else is it going to fit?

for me technology is no barrier, its a sense of pride. in the days before wifi was affordable I got me and 2 roommates online in a house running hundreds of feet of cat 5 cable. a dish is just another thing sticking on my house showing I've got the best.

TBS and TNT show their movies in a sort of phony HD stretch-o-vision where they take a 4 X 3 video stream and squish it out to 16 X 9.
In other words, the cheap bastards aren't paying for the re-mastered source material for true hi-def.
