THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

What books, zines or other pulp are you reading? What aren't you reading? What should everyone else read?

THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

This is by the guy whoe wrote THEM (see earlier post) and it is an absolute stunning read.
Witty, weird, wild.
PsyOps in the miltary: everything from "remote viewers" to attempts to walk through walls and stare goats to death.
One even glares at a hamster until it tips over.
Excellent.

That book is a fantastic read. And as writing, it's brilliant.

What's more, if anyone has done a lot of reading about US programs relating to these subjects, they'll recognize pieces of newspaper articles they've read over the years. I found it remarkable the author threaded, so many programs into one book, many of which havebeen documented by The Nation, ZMag, WORT, Al McCoy, etc.

This is proof that a) both of you are crazy and b) one of you is a total sock puppet.

I don't understand.
WP seems to have a strangely compelling fascination with my downfall.
Why are we crazy?
To have read a wonderfully fascinating bit of true fringe reality and the excess our military goes to to stay on top?
To enjoy intelligent witty reporting?
Why is one of us a sock puppet?
Because we both seem to have read the same wonderfully fascinating bit of true fringe reality and the excess our military goes to to stay on top?
WTF?
Wetty P,: I sense a lot of pent-up hostility, envy, and feelings of inadequacy all percolating right beneath the surface of your petty paranoia.
What's your deal?

It's called a "joke," blunt.

I know both you and Sombrero in real life and to me any agreement betwixt the two of you confirms my analysis.

Relax. :D
