Strongest Pacific cyclone this time of year in over 50 years.

https://weather.com/storms/typhoon/news ... -christmas

"According to Dr. Phil Klotzbach, Nock-ten is the strongest northwest Pacific tropical cyclone so late in the season since Susan in 1963 and Hester in 1952. Its winds of 155 mph also make it the strongest tropical cyclone anywhere in the world on Christmas Day since 1960."

See, now that is an example of the type of storm that deserves to be named.

They should have named the cyclone Rodrigo, in honor of the killer president.
