Perfect for your pre-Halloween partying, musical weirdo Biff Blumfumgagnge (The Gomers, Reptile Palace Orchestra) submits an evening of vintage scariness (and silliness) for your approval... First, he'll screen both reels of a 16mm print of 1935's THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN starring Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester. What a film. Then, he'll accompany Salvador Dali's disturbing 1929 surrealist short, "Un Chien Andalou" with live music created from a mandolin-synth and a suitcase of doom (and possibly a steam fiddle). Throw in some Halloween appropriate vintage cartoon shorts and you've got a fun 'n eerie evening of fine entertainment.
Got a gig coming up? A CD coming out? A new bass player who looks like Jesus and smells like a field of posies? If you're selling or promoting something, post it here.
