Hanggai is a sensational band that will play Bonnaroo the day after the Barrymore show and will have played Millenium Park in Chicago the day before. This is a Beijing punk band that adopted the music of their native Inner Mongolia. That includes two-octave throat singing, beer-drinking songs and songs reminiscent of bluegrass, Celtic and western cowboy melodies.
Tickets are on sale now at the following Barrymore outlets.

Tickets $16 advance, $18 day of show on sale at the Sugar Shack, Star Liquor, MadCity Music, B-Side, Frugal Muse (Northgate &
Junction Rd.), Strictly Discs, the Barrymore, online at barrymorelive.com or call & charge at (608) 241-8633.

The Senegalese Band Yoro Ndiaye and Yoonwi got their US visas on Tuesday and are unable to get here from Dakar in time for their Saturday festival appearance. We will try to get them here in September.
The sensational Campbell Brothers will do a second or "prequel"performance at 6:30 on Saturday.

We went both days, had a dam good time. The music, in my own humble opinion, was hit and miss. Sometimes it really rocked, other times not so much. But that vendor that used to be Athenian Gardens was there and she still serves up a fantastic gyro, the beer and the crowd were great. And on Sunday afternoon the weather was perfect for kayaking.

Good weekend. Except that I didn't get much yard work or gardening done for some reason.

Okay. Now do we show this to SerenityNow as an example of robot spam or is fizza9 just a poor soul who really liked the 2010 Waterfront Hall concert in Belfast?
