We've been working hard on this project for the past few weeks, and the CD is DONE. Well worth the effort. Here are some shots from the studio sessions:

Behold!

Here are a couple advance copies of the CD. As you can see, it is not a cheap ass freebie. The package is a custom die cut wallet/digipack combo on a matte cover stock with a fold out insert, and the disc is color thermal printed to boot. It is all top of the line. You know you want it. Thanks a ton to Chris over at Sooper Dooper for putting up with me badgering him into letting me get crazy with the design. I'm very happy with it.

Here is the full track list:

Freddy Faggot's "Madtown (#17)" by Warhawks
The Shabelle's "Uh-Oh" by Superstar Fantastico
The Skintone's "H-Bomb" by Lorenzo's Music
Brainerd's "Chocolate Cake" by Droids Attack
Underculture's "Shop" by Digibot
Mad Trucker Gone Mad's "My Time" by Helliphant
Transformer Lootbag's "Human Candiru" by Zebras
Icarus Himself's "Cadaver Love Song" by Stephanie Rearick
Way Off The Horse's "Four Inch Blade" by Droids Attack
The Gammit's "No Better" by Systemic Torment
The Hussy's "Sexi Ladi" by The Midwest Beat
Daisy Head Mayzie's "Pinky Toe" by James Koback
Trin Tran's "Wounded" by Brainerd
Those Poor Bastards' "Nightmare World" by Sinking Suns
Killdozer's "Hi There" by Venus In Furs
Cuda's "Raven Bitch" by Subatomic

First show is tonight! I've been assembling the discs all week and they're finally ready to distribute. I can't wait for them to get out there, so come and get 'em while you can. I also can't wait to see what Stephanie, Lorenzo's Music, Uncle Eddie have cooked up for their sets. And the Monos reunion? Jesus, this is going to be fun.

That's what we do! Not to tie up the Hype Exchange anymore, but I felt I should share the last of the pics with those who care to see them:

Image
The Frequency stage decked with the LLF backdrop.

Image
Sinking Suns performed some unique takes on some Those Poor Bastards, Killdozer, Droids Attack, and more.

Image
Zebras performed some excellent renditions of Transformer Lootbag tunes.

Then we played, I got drunk, and stopped taking pictures. We played songs from The Wizenheimers, Mad Trucker Gone Mad, Digibot, Helliphant, Brainerd, Way Off The Horse, Dick The Bruiser, and Siv.

Funrod was excellent, of course.

If you showed up and got a CD, then congratulations! If you missed out and you want one, I suggest you find someone who went and get a burned copy from them. This was a special project for a special occasion and we aren't planning on making any more.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this community event! You all made it well worth the effort. Hopefully we can do it again next year.
