The Getaway Drivers CD Release
with our good friend,
Sean Michael Dargan

Tuesday, June 26th, 2007
6pm to 9pm

High Noon Saloon
701 East Washington Ave.
Madison WI
608-268-1122

Cover: $5.00

Join The Getaway Drivers for our CD release party! Singer-songwriter Sean Michael Dargan will get us started as we rock away on a sweet summer evening after work. Our seven piece lineup will include special guest guitarist, Dan Kennedy, embellishing our unique take on rockin' folk-americana.
5 bucks to get in, 10 bucks for the shiny new self-titled, full-length CD. You'll have a good time.
Satisfaction (more than likely) guaranteed! (I think that absolves us from any missing pants lawsuits)

Hmmm...Notice my disclaimer - "Satisfaction (more than likely) Guaranteed". That way, if someone shows up expecting Ellie to be onstage tearing the roof off the place, we won't end up in a $65 million lawsuit for breech.
Hope you can make it out, even sans Ellie! We'll let Dan do a little roofwork. -K

I wish Dan luck at this gig. He's a good player and a very cool guy.
I just hope he wears a good knife proof vest, because when the long knives come out, he'll need it.
One with a good ceramic armor plate in the back.
I'm sure it will be a nice, safe and polite show, filled with reasonable and carefully controled songs done in a tasteful way, a fine example of music done by careful and very mature musicians.

I guess that's a bump...maybe in kind of a back-handed way.

We're breaking out the electric dulcimer and melodica just for the CD Release Party! Time may be right for a melodica resurgence...how long has it been since the Hooters got airplay?

Even though it's a hot one outside, it'll be cool in the High Noon tonight - cool air, cool vibe, cold beer. The music may get a little hot, but we'll try to keep our cool, too.
