Vibe Syndicate will rock the party at 10PM

So - has anyone been to the "new" Wonder's? I heard from one long time Wonder's regular that most of the crowd has dissipated although several of them now get together at the Harmony instead. I haven't had the heart to even go past there yet, not sure I'll get around to it. Probably just mosey on down to the Harmony like a lot of the former Wonder's regulars.

Hey, I've been there!
I am happy to report, IT'S BEEN CLEANED!
Cleaned up, nice young owners, I had a tasty sandwich, all in all it was a great time!
I wish them luck!
I know the old Wonders folks might be dissapointed but I don't think they are trying to be the "new" Wonders. Let the new folks do their own thing!

I've heard some folks have migrated to Dexter's (formerly the Sandlot).

Can you tell us more about the food? Do they have a new menu? Just sandwiches? Fish Fry? How late do they serve food?

I like it. Obviously whenever a place that was such a reliable neighborhood joint as Wonder's closes, it risks losing regulars who won't like the new place no matter what. Alchemy is similar to Wonders in many ways (they didn't change the room around at all and it's still pretty comfortable in there), but also pretty different (menu is more ambitious).

They're still booking local folk/bluegrass in there on a regular basis:

And I have no problem with "letting the new folks do their thing" and I wish them luck. I just won't be by there for a while. Joyce was right when he said that some individuals won't like it no matter what, but I'll be interested to see what it's like - later.
