Malaysian cuisine is absent in Madison's restaurants...

Grocery stores, recipes, cook books, CSAs, farmers' markets, organic, local, processed, corporate. It's a smorgabord!

I miss Ha Ru Bong, the korean joint that used to occupy that space. They had great bulgogi, and put the other korean joints in town to complete shame.

Mekong is alright - their steamed {meat} in banana leaf is pretty good and nicely fragrant. Their pho is kind of uninspiring, though.
