Dave, what should I do if they scratch Harrass?

Just another example of conservatives not being able to do or decide anything without direction from their "leaders."

Until the recent Fall election, I thought about calling the state treasurer's office demanding to see Dawn MarieSass.

Jeremy/Jeremy, my six questions to you http://www.thedailypage.com/blaska/article.php?article=34420 are STILL awaiting your response yet you "repeatedly abandon" them!

Here's some more questions for you Jeremy/Jeremy and I demand answers to them as well.
1) Is it right to shout down those with whom you disagree?
2) Should the sentencing judge take the race of the offender into consideration?
3) Why do you consider it onerous for Democrats to show identification at the polling place?
4) Do you believe that the courts convict each and every offense that occurs or that some offenses go undetected?
5) Should transfer payments to "the poor" be a) increased, b) decreased, c) be left unchanged.
6) Does the federal safety net (social security, Medicare, Medicaid) need changes to cope with the huge bubble of aging baby boomers?
7) If so, what would you do?
8th) Given that federal spending at 25% of GDP is the highest since WW2, should federal spending a) remain the same, b) increase, c) decrease?
9)Your politics could generally be described as a) liberal-progressive, b) conservative, c) socialist, d) libertarian, e) anarchist, f) you are that rarest of birds, totally a-political.
10) Do you support Kaleem Caire's Urban Prep charter school as presented?
11) Do you believe that life begins at conception? If not, when?
12) Who was the last Republican for whom you voted?

Be prepared to respond to my repeated requests for justification. Go to it, boy!

My name is not Jeremy. I do not have any connection to anyone that responded to your blog post(s). I don't read your blog. I did not post any of those claims or talking points.

You, Mr. Blaska, on the other hand, made the claims I highlighted, and I continue to wait for your verifiable facts that back them up.

Questions 1-6 above, please.

Now you're calling me a liar. Extremely offensive, and, as a few people on here that know me in person can attest to, factually incorrect.

So much for "civil discourse" from a paid contributor to Isthmus.

David, it's very easy to demonstrate that Daily commenter Jeremy Schultz is not Forum commenter ilikebeans.

W/o checking the link, I apologize for calling you "Jeremy," Mr. Beans. Now, my questions?

Thank you for your apology. That's more than I expected, to be honest.

Now, your questions: They are not based on statements I made, factual or otherwise, and you're posting them in an effort to distract from the original issue; i.e., backing up your statements.

In other words, you go first.

Perhaps, David darling, you should take this as a gentle hint to check your facts more carefully before publishing a conclusion. I may a bit late to the party but I can say with definite authority that Beanie is not, nor has ever been called Jeremy.

#3 and #4 very much are. I responded 11 times in the first four pages of this forum on your issue; you can respond to my issue(s). Otherwise, you are being tendentious.

3) Why do you consider it onerous for Democrats to show identification at the polling place?
4) Do you believe that the courts convict each and every offense that occurs or that some offenses go undetected?

Regarding 3: The identification that was required for as long as I can remember voting (which goes back to the 1960s) has not been shown to be inadequate. Since the state definitely has an interest in properly identifying recipients of social services, why wasn't the same ID sufficient for identifying a voter? Why aren't the identity safeguards used in a court of law sufficient?

4) You've been watching too many courtroom dramas and now you're hoping to convince us the integrity of the voting process is endangered by undetected fraudulent voters. Arguing from hypotheticals is about as weak as it gets. Surely you realize there are more efficient ways to stuff a ballot box in this day and age.

I think what Blaska is saying, if I may, is that he would like to employ ad hominem and/or a straw man to distract from having to support his statement, a supposed factual claim. His earlier attempts to shift the burdon of truth for his statement have apparently failed.

He's an expert in the use of informal logical fallacies and doesn't even know (or, at least, acknowledge) it!

THAT's the Jeremy I know! Always critical of others' arguments but never offers any of his own!
