What questions do you want answered?

Postby Ned Flounders » Wed May 27, 2009 9:04 am

Jason asked us who we want answers from. But more important is -- what are the questions?

Let's help Jason out here. What questions do you want to have answered?

Where are the snows of yesteryear?

Why do we "ride" a bicycle but "drive" a car?

If God is all-powerful, why is there so much misery, pain, and poverty in the world?

Why does Madison always seem to be a slightly less great place to live than it was a few years ago?

Given an initial velocity field (in three dimensions of space plus time), does there exist a vector velocity and a scalar pressure field, both of which are smooth and globally defined, that solve the Navier–Stokes equations?

Why do so many people hate cilantro?

Where did I leave my hat?

I can answer a couple of these:

The cilantro thing is genetic.

Pain and misery etc. exist because the Earth is in the thrall of an insane quasi-deity known as The Demiurge.

God has your hat.
