For true. Madison Miscellany used to be a great timewaster. There's still Dane101's Breakfast Links but it was nice to have both.

The Miscellany links were updated yesterday. I don't want to speak out of turn, but Kristian's working at getting back into the swing of things from the recent (and noted here) down time.

Viewers of The Wire have seen this movie before. When jobs are eliminated, and fewer people are asked to do the same amount of work, there's no wiggle room when someone is out sick or on vacation. The result: stuff doesn't get done.
I, too, miss the Daily updates.

Again, no update for 20 days? "Judy Olson, Warren Onken named recipients of Jeff Erlanger Award" last posted on Feb 4. I enjoyed reading these somewhat current posts much more than anything on madison.com.

A couple of times recently I've gone to the Daily link and seen a format sans Madison Miscellany. It looked just fine. Like Tetris without the high empty space you keep avoiding because surely a long piece will show up any moment now. Are you trying various configurations? Is my distraction-starved brain hallucinating a page of dynamic and updated material without the stale old stuff?

Thirty-three days later, we have Madison Miscellany updates.

We do read them.

We do notice.

Thanks for the update.
