The word 'truculent' conjures up, to me, free-associated images of a really nasty mouth wound, like what the Joker doled out in The Dark Knight. A potentially ugly word, indeed.

A not-so-nice bridge-burner! Heh. Hopefully everyone lambasted in his putdown has thicker skin than (s)ohn did.

Per usual, I agree with Lueders.

Mendel(s)ohn kinda reminds me of my most socially-challenged cousin. She alienates happiness. The overwhelming majority of people she meets quickly conclude she's an unpleasant bitch putting on airs. She is, but she also introduced me to a whole slew of good music when I was growing up.

I hope Mendel(s)ohn finds balance & happiness someplace else. I enjoyed his articles. Maybe he could do a series on cross-country bridge-burnings?

I just get a kick out of the fact that he contacted Madison Magazine for a BDSM article!
Even after the editor told him that wasn't their usual fare!
What was he expecting, and how come Isthmus didn't run it???

In his defense she shouldn't have dragged his payment out and probably just told him up front that she wasn't interested.

Still....I do agree with him that people here are waaaay too passive/agressive for their own good.

I'm not even going to dignify that with a comment.
