Chuck Schick sleeps with the fishes ...

Postby Chuck_Schick » Fri Jun 29, 2007 4:00 pm

Well, here it is. Post 10,283 and this Schick's last.

I kept thinking I needed to come up with something clever as a closer. But really, why start now?

Thanks to all, friend and foe alike, for the brilliant exercise in wasting time. I hope some of you got the joke. I know plenty of you whiffed.

Remember: You don't have to be nice to each other. Just try to be good to each other.

And to the next Foron to hit the 10K mark (or ass ceiling, as I call it): Now is a really good time to start looking for more meaningful employment.

Well, I guess that's it.

Hey Chucky I see that your cover band is playing the High Noon this coming Friday. I still want to sit in with you guys even though your band members think I'm a douche bag. I could bring my Cheese-a-Cord which is my Full-Stop Organ Stimulation Instrument that I use in my award winning performance as The Madison Mallards Offical Organ Player and Resident Jerk-Off.

Come on Chucky We could do Louie Louie or some other cheesy piece of shit classic rock song. I have to make my bones.

Email me at harris~harrissimo.com.

If you let me down the curse of harrissimo will be on you and your family for 1001 years!

I'm serious. I'm not fucking around with you Chucky. Remember I'm from New Jersey so don't fuck me Schick.

Chuck's playing in a cover band?
Ugh.
That's something I never saw coming.

Yeah, but they cover the likes of The Move and Swamp Dogg, it ain't no "Mustang Sally" affair.

They also do a great "A Quick One While He's Away".

Oooohhhh. Now you're talking.
Not easy to do at all, and not exactly something you hear all the time.

After working the past few days at Summerfest I've heard all the cover bands I can handle, hence the sour mood.
