Lift Bridge Hop Dish IPA

Postby Henry Vilas » Fri Jul 11, 2014 2:12 pm

Another fine IPA, this time from Stillwater, MN. I found it at the University Ave. Brennan's, which carries some brands I can find nowhere else in Madison.

Enjoy. You're welcome.

This sounds familiar. I might have had it (on tap) at Paul's Club? Hard to say though, there are about 1,001 beers with "hop" in the name these days.

Lift Bridge and Avery were at one point only available in Wisconsin at Brennan's. Avery's distribution has broadened to all of southern Wisconsin, but I feel like Lift Bridge might still be a Brennan's-only deal as far as southern Wisconsin goes.

Avery IPA is another favorite. I also read that they will distribute more widely in our neck of the woods. After reading your post (and looking in the fridge) I amended the title for correct spelling.

I'm guzzling a lot of Lonely Blonde from the boys at Fulton Brewery. Not sure if it's available in 'sconnie yet.

Is that from Minnesota? Where's the brewery? Not sure if I've seen that around yet.

It is Minnesotan, the brewery/taproom is right across the street from Target Field, and it's not distributed in Wisconsin yet -- except maybe Casanova Liquor in Hudson.

Yes, it's excellent.
