Mini Cocktails?

Postby Henry Chinaski » Thu Dec 06, 2012 8:51 pm

I'm taking a set of 4 small (they hold about 4 shots) cocktail glasses to a Christmas party this weekend. Any Suggestions on how to fill them?
They're too big for shots but too small for Old Fashioneds.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

[FWIW: I'm not suggesting this because the image reminds me of an Andres Serrano exhibit.]

I think a nice limoncello would be ideal. But you need to find one whose maker focuses on the bitter/citrus range of the flavor spectrum. Most of the U.S. imports are cloyingly sweet, but if you find a good one, it will confuse your palate like a first love.

Something classic....

Real whiskey sours (or "quick" ones with no egg white and squirt)?
Manhattans?
