9/26 - Special Wisconsin Book Festival Episode!
So many great authors are coming to next week's festival, it's impossible to feature them all. Here are two I'm especially looking forward to:
David Masciotra, Working on a Dream: The Progressive Political Vision of Bruce Springsteen [Continuum]. David will be speaking at the Wisconsin Studio in the Overture Center for the Arts on Saturday morning, Oct. 2 from 10-11:30.
Danielle McGuire, At the Dark End of the Street: Black Women, Rape and Resistance -- A New History of the Civil Rights Movement, from Rosa Parks to the Rise of Black Power [Knopf]. Prof. McGuire will be speaking at the downtown branch of the Madison Public Library on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 2, from 3-4:30.
Howard Landsman previews the upcoming Mary Lou Williams Centennial Celebration.

Hope you can join us, live or download.
