You, PMS like a bitch, I would know.

I have one friend who would be perfect for that shirt.

There isn't gonna be another Madonna (or Zep, or Beatles, for that matter) unless the riaa and it's handpicked demonguard of megalithic recording corporations can figure out how re-monopolize music distribution. Katy Perry will be Madonna to a certain relatively small segment of the listening public but she isn't gonna wash over America. Too many choices and competing marketing minds.

The web is making Warhol's dream of 15 minute fame for everyone come true and Katy's is up in 10... 9... 8... granted she may be around for a while but her time in the zeitgeist whirlwind won't be that long. Unless maybe she dies soon...

"Perry scooped Best Pop Video for 'I Kissed A Girl' and delighted the crowd at the Saitama Super Arena by donning a sushi-themed one-piece bathing suit and kimono for a sizzling performance of 'Hot N Cold.'"

Yeah, I also question the need for a Katy Perry RSS feed of useless news. What I'm listening to, sure. What Katy Perry's last bowel movement looked like, not so much.

Um...are you guys reading every single post on this forum?

If you are not interested in a topic, you might try, you know, not reading it.

Also, try getting out more.

You are both kind of creeping me out.

This is so 2008. Where the hell is the Lady Gaga thread?

We're gathering a Kyle Army to follow you around and critique your every move. Don't scratch yourself even when you think no one's looking, because we're there. And we're judging.

...

Waitaminnit... the guy who just posted a trivial update on Katy Perry's activities in a faraway land is telling us to get out more?

The problem is that if you post in a topic once, it keeps on showing up in the "View your posts" roll every time there's a new one. And then I have to click it. It's the rules.

Just wait soon enough that cube will be "Parakeet Green" or some other retina burning color.

I see.

Scrolling back, it may be instructive to report that my last post on the matter was Dec 16, 2008. Today is June 3, 2009.

So yes, you both seem a little obsessed to me.

BTW, it's a totally ridiculous video, whether you love or hate Perry. But you don't have to click through to that, either--I hasten to remind you!

Sheesh.

"Hot N Cold" was boring when the Beatles recorded it as "Hello Goodbye."

Oh, I didn't--don't you worry your pretty little head. Doesn't hurt that YouTube can't work on my Flash- and Java-crippled IE6 workstation, but I still probably wouldn't have clicked it.

I'm always happy to substantively discuss Katy Perry. She doesn't have everything going on, but she has more going on than many.
