I had a whole list of different artists and clips listed here, but this clip was better, so I only left this one.

Sam and Dave, 1967 Germany:

Ok, one more. I found one with Booker T and the MGs jamming it out on their own from the same year so I thought I would post it, whether anyone cares or not. Quite a jamming version of Green Onions.

For those of you who remember the 70's music program, "The Midnight Special", there are many clips from that show on youtube.com if you do a search. There's one of Rick James that includes an intro by Wolfman Jack.

Here's Johnny Cash's message to people who mix politics and music. Man, he looks pretty tweaked out on this one:

Totally tweaked.

But the song was pretty funny (up to the Big Message At The End). Shel Silverstein?

Johnny and Bob, recording "One Too Many Mornings":

That Dylan, Cash clip is a good one. There's also video on youtube from Dylan's appearance on The Johnny Cash Show.

Cash's message at the end of The Right Left Hand seems a bit odd as he wrote The Man In Black, which is a political song. And he actually recorded a political album, Bitter Tears.

Another from the Johnny Cash Does Bob Songbook -- Girl From the North County, with (appropriately enough), Joni Mitchell:

I like this clip of Johnny Cash and Phil Harris, Jack Benny's old bandleader.

That Paul Collins appearance was AWESOME, damn good song too. Note how the audience stands stock straight even as he wigs out. He, like EC, tried country and thats when they both lost me. Not the country mind you which is God's own genre but why do pop icons KEEP trying it badly.

A "Metal Supergroup" that is way better than that mess on VH1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47pVuc26Hug

A band that should have been bigger:

A band that played about every UW campus in 1983/4 -

I have this on vinyl - no idea they made a video for it.

And a classic of modern music:
