Fila Brazilia, "Leonids"

This band is rapidly becoming one of my favorite contemporary acts. Very much on the Kruder & Dorfmeister tip, but more melodic, more organic.

I know it's Hot Topic rock, but My Chemical Romance's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is in my iPod today and I fucking love it.

Mary Ellis- "I Try" (good work out song)

Snoop Dogg- "Rhythm And Gangsta" (not a huge Snoop fan but he's got alot of slick grooves on this album)

Common- "One Day It'll All Make Sense"- Classic album, I actually prefer this over "Resurrection"

Jon B's greatest hits- Man, Michael Bolton ain't got jack on my man Jon B.

Nine Inch Nails- "Broken"- I know ya'll are like "WTF?" but hey, I'm diverse!

I am listening to the mP3 I downloaded off the SevenOneFive website, which is a quickie recording of their performace on my radio show last Friday night. The recording is quite listenable and they played like motherfuckers. A must have if you dig local punk rock and it is free on the internet here http://www.sevenonefive.com/v7/index2.php

Yes- "Starship Trooper". Pretentious, bloated, and totally cool. Prog is the new punk.

I've been big into Oingo Boingo lately, too.

The album that's been in my player almost consistently for a week now is Sunrise Over Sea by The John Butler Trio. I keep hearing that Zebra tune on Triple M and I liked it so I managed to snag a copy of it and it is out of this world good. A tasty treat for anyone who likes good slide guitar, resonator, thoughtful lyrics and just bad ass rockin'.
