Guitar Tune-up and Repair?

Postby shyguy » Mon Apr 06, 2015 9:45 am

I'm a guitar player who's been "inactive" for a while. I'm looking to polish up my stuff again, and have a couple electric guitars that could stand a "tune-up" before I get going. Where do local guitar players take their stuff for reliable work?

I can only vouch for Guitar Shop up by MATC. Not sure who does this at Heid or how well they do it. I do setups for friends n stuff. Not sure Full Compass does them for customers but they do a setup before every guitar they ship.

Thanks fisticuffs for the reply, guess no one else has an opinion. I appreciate it.

You could always try Ed Tronics. Ed used to have a shop in Oregon but I think he works out of his home now. He worked on my Tele and has repaired two late model Fender amps for me. He's on Face Book as Ed Tronics.
