Schabow straps it on.

I once tried to convince the Digidorks to perform a show naked. Surprisingly, I got 3/4 yes votes. The world owes Bort thanks for saying no.

Liberal caucasians sure do like the Wilco. I don't get it, but ya know, I've got soul.

The problem is that since Schabow's nudity is online, it can follow you everywhere.

My seats were on the floor midway from the front, left side isle.
1: I was expecting better sound from The Overture Center system. The previous comment about feeling like the show took place somewhere in the second deck was what I experienced as well.

2: Being the first "rock" show I've gone to at the O center I wasn't expecting to be able to drink Beer inside setting area. Thanks to the 3 dollar sippycups my buzz was kept at the appropriate level. Bonus ( I saved mine... I will now be able to drink and drive with less worry about spillage.)

3: To the Mr citywide suit & tie dick face who came up to Dave Zero in the front of the LONG beer line to ask him to buy a couple beers with his creditcard... you small pathetic little prick.

4: Dave Zero who was in front of me and obliged with the beers: WTF?
To be fair you looked at him like he was the small little prick that he was.

5: I am over reacting a little

6: As a long time Wilco fan I am a little disappointed in the direction the band has taken. I prefer the Being There , AM Wilco sound but I think they still have a good thing going.

I thought the sound was pretty good, but that might be because I was in pretty much the very back row of the balcony. It seemed like the speakers were set up a little better for us people with really far away seats.

Madison Fights to Groupie-Up a Love-Child with Wilco

I look forward to the same inter-city battle over Willie Nelson, Galactic, and the Melvins.

Hey, sounds like those who were in attendance are offering mixed reviews, but if you want an audience recording of the show, here it is at etree.

I haven't listened to it, so I can't comment on the quality of the recording. The price is right, though.

WHAT.

What a waste of time. They are guys who play in a band. They keep playing here because they sell a lot of tickets each time and make money. That doesn't make them special.

By the same logic, the Common Council should re-name Atwood 'BoDeans Avenue.'

You may now all recoil in horror.

When was the last time this city did anything to honor a local musician who wasn't just about to break up or leave town, as it did for Joy Dragland right before she shipped out? Who is more deserving than Biff, whose bands The Gomers and Natty Nation have appeared at countless benefits and free city events?

I say, no city council resolution for any musician until Biff Blumfumgagnge gets his!

I agree with you about the appropriateness of honoring locals over out-of-towners, but have you already forgotten that Madison mayors have designated Feb. 1st as Gomer Day?

That Wilco proposal is pretty embarrassing. It makes us look like a bunch of suck-ups. I realize it was all done in fun, but gah.

One aspect I kind of like is the attempt to outfawn Duluth. Madison needs a rival city. Duluth could be our Shelbyville, that is to say "our bitch".
