I stopped into Scatz with my lady friend on Saturday for a post-Costco shopping beer.

It stank.

Wait, so WASP has turned into Stryper?

Allow me to emphasize my post with a found image.

My hand is in the air.

I also thought the following were cool the first time around:

Motley Crue
Cinderella
Tesla
Posion
Ratt
Bullet Boys
LA Guns
Dokken
Whitesnake
Quiet Riot
Twisted Sister

I was a bit older during that era (college, or just out) but I always had pretty specific likes and dislikes among bands of that ilk. Likes:

- Tesla
- Dokken (seemed like about half the songs were great, but never two in a row)
- Queensryhche (although they got big a little later than the others, I think)
- Riot (though they started a bit earlier)
- Cinderella
- White Lion

Didn't care for Crue, Poison, Whitesnake, or for that matter, WASP. But they all had the occasional decent song. Also, I think that era will eventually cry out for a good Rhino compilation, for bands like Pretty Maids, DAD, Riot, etc that never quite made it huge, but still had some great songs.
