I'm looking at getting one of these Electro-Harmonix harmony pedals...

Anybody used one or something similar live?
I'm curious about gain issues with switching on and off, etc.

Electro Harmonix can be great or horrible. I think given that they don't make a lot of vocal stuff this might not be your best choice. TC Electronic/Helicon have that stuff locked down and have a range of stage vocal products. There is also a Digitech solution but it is weak compared to the TC. I guess it depends entirely on what type of processing you want/need. Do you want to sound like a robot? Or just add some harmony? TC is the way to go.
