Rhythm section looking for guitar/singer

Postby nutria » Sun Nov 23, 2008 10:11 am

Bass player & drummer looking for guitar and/or singer for noisy, energetic indie rock/punk/garage band.

We're looking for a guitar player/singer to complete a 3 or 4 piece rock band. Think very loud, noisy, energetic. Influences include everything from 60's garage, 70's punk, 80's hardcore, and present indie rock. Off the top of the head, Ramones, Minutemen, Nomeansno, Jesus LIzard, the Who, etc. We have practice space.

Damn, the two hardest to find types of musicians offered up in a package deal? And with Nutria on bass? Come on guitar players/singers, jump on it.

It sounds right up my alley and I have been wanting to start another band. I'd love to get together and jam sometime soon just to see if it might workout. Fell free to e-mail me @ tbs2@tds.net. Thanks.

Probably practice once a week, and play a show every month or two. Not super high pressure at all.

Is Toonces the drummer?
He likes that NoMeansNo band for some reason.

I'd play guitar if all you'd expect from me is quadraphonic (4 separate amps) feedback and jan hammer-ons.
Singing is for The Byrds.
