Tickets for Killdozer (and the rest of the Fest) will be on sale tomorrow morning at 10 AM on the FMF website. A limited number of VIP upgrade tickets will be sold as part of the Early Bird onsale. Get 'em while they're hot!!

If you want to ensure you get in for the Killdozer set it is a good idea to get one of them VIP passes. That will be the most in-demand gig of the festival. Neko and Bob Mould certainly have their charms, but they play shows all the time. This is only the second Killdozer show of the 21st century for gods sake. Some people with regular wristbands will be able to get into the Killdozer show, but one would think you will have to get there really early, wait in line and hope for the best. Or just pay the $10 to become a very important person in the kingdom of Killdozer.

Hi TDPF friends and Killdozer fans, tickets are flying for the fest and Killdozer VIP upgrades are selling at a rapid clip. If you want guaranteed access, we suggest you hit up www.forwardmusicfest.com/tickets sooner rather than later, just a heads up. Thanks for supporting Midwestern music!

Thanks for letting us know about the error message. A few folks have reported the same issue and our tech guru informs us it's a product of heavy web traffic. But the orders have all been received and confirmed so no worries on that end.

We appreciate your support and see you in September!!

So it has been public for a while that Killdozer is reuniting and playing in Madison, Wisconsin as part of the 1st annual Forward Music Festival on Saturday September 20th. By the way there are less than 30 VIP passes left to the Killdozer show so you may want to purchase on if you want to be guarenteed admission to that show.

Then last night Michael Gerald sent me an email outlining plans for at least seven other Killdozer shows taking place later this year. The following is cut and paste directly from the email Michael sent me last evening:

Killdozer now has several more natty gigs lined up for 2008:

10/11 San Francisco, CA Bottom of the Hill
10/12 Los Angeles, CA The Echo
10/31 Baltimore, MD Talking Head Club
11/01 TBA
11/02 NYC, NY Knitting Factory
11/08 Austin, TX FunFunFun Fest
12/06 Chicago, IL Abbey Pub (Tentative)

I have purposely kept quiet on these until now for the sake of boosting the FMF, but now I'm letting the cat outta the bag.

Specifically, there are, as of this morning, 22 Killdozer VIP badges (out of 200) still available.

Another thing worth pointing out is that Killdozer’s show at the Forward Music Festival will be unique and special due to presence of Paul Zagoras (guitarist from 1993-1996) who I understand will join the founding trio of Killdozer for a few songs for a dual guitar version of Killdozer never previously assembled. For further nitpicking, Killdozer did have two guitarists at the end with Paul Zagoras and Jeff Ditzenberger, but at no time did original Killdozer guitarist Bill Hobson play a set with his replacement, Paul Zagoras. It’s a big deal.
