I agree. Eau Claire had it going on back in the mid-90's. I used to call it Am Rep East cause a lot of their bands emulated that Minneapolis label and almost all of them recorded with Tim Mac. Three Liter Hit was leading that pack in terms of originality, but I would also would drive a couple hours to see reunions by Touch is Automatic or Venison.

Brent from 3 Liter Hit said a while ago that there might be a remixed compilation of their stuff, but I haven't heard anything since. Should've asked him at the Drunk Drivers show in Eau Claire last weekend.

Dave from Touch is Automatic is fronting The Belles of Skin City up in Minneapolis, sounds like they are playing out a lot. I saw them in Eau Claire about a year ago, they were pretty entertaining.

The only one I knew personally was Noel, last time I saw him he was excited cause he lost weight by cutting french fries out of his diet, but it sounds like the man has time for both rockin' and avoiding fries.
