Atalanta update

Postby spacetiki » Tue Sep 16, 2003 5:41 pm

Alas, our dear percussionist Matt Peters is moving on to greater things and we are left with a great gap in our little band  . At the moment we have no idea what the future holds for us as Atalanta, but we wish Matt the best and thank everyone for the support we've been shown  . Perhaps the forum folks can help us decide which direction to head  .

I agree Matt is someone who couldn't be replaced. If we go on things will certainly be different.

I think no matter who plays drums, it's a worthwhile project, although I would love to steal nicole for an all-female supergroup.

I'll pass the idea along to her, Nicole doesn't really understand the whole internet thing just yet  . She may be interested who knows!

Don't let the Madison Fall Blues stop Atalanta. Hell, all four of the bands I was in that were playing out as of two months ago are all training new members right now. You'll find someone ... it may not be quite the same, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Instead of finding a new drummer, consider adding an entire corps of about a dozen dwarf albino tambourinists.

WOW!! Thats a fantastic idea!! Any notion of how one might find a dozen dwarf albino tambourinists who would be wiling to work for free? Shit, I could deal with just a half dozen but I'd hold out for a bakers dozen if the situation arose!
