Plaka Taverna and Ouzeria (New Cleveland's)?

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

Plaka Taverna and Ouzeria (New Cleveland's)?

Postby crevice beatle » Thu Aug 07, 2008 6:49 am

Biking down E.Wilson last week, I noticed that what I thought was a remodel for Cleveland's Diner had been completed. The restaurant had a completely different name and look though.
Is Cleveland's no longer? Has anyone tried this place?

Their breakfasts are even better than before. I'll have to try me a gyros soon.

First meal at Plaka

Postby lolagirl » Mon Aug 25, 2008 7:43 pm

We ate dinner at Plaka (nee Clevelands) last Wed - the 2nd day it was open for dinner. Wonderful mealj (':D') The menu has a number of small dishes and a page of entrees. I ordered avegelemeno (sp?), a sausage small dish and a small salad dish. My "dining companion" had chicken kebobs. Everything was great, can't wait to go back again. The place looks great but while it's much more spiffed up then before the friendliness is still the same. A great addition to Madison's dining.
