Parkway Family Restaurant

Where are you eating and what do you think? What's opening, closing, succeeding, failing?

I used to eat there with my mom. It's pretty much of an all American type place. I think the last thing I had was a BLT and pretty good apple pie. I gotta say, it's better than the two disappointments I've had at the Continental.

It's pretty similar to any Greek diner. They have a huge variety of stuff on the menu, and they offer side choices like salad or spaghetti. I've always liked it there - good breakfast, good atmosphere. But I skip their desserts - I don't think bakery is their strong suit.

Not just a Greek/Albanian American family restaurant---it's BOTH!
I wish we still had Mr. Lunch's review in the DP archives.....(I wish we had DP archives....).
But I know it's exactly like the Green Forest, American Table, and Prime Table: gyro meat omelettes (yum!), every kind of comfort food entree and sandwich ever conceived by humans (seriously: the menu is a culinary phonebook) and of course:
the Revolving Pillar of Desserts!
OOh! Plus, the waitrons called me "hon."
I love that.
The food isn't spectacular but every now and then it almost good. They have all-you-can-eat specials almost nightly (spaghetti, chicken, ribs, cod or probably whitefish, actually) and it feels nice snuggled down beneath all the rushing traffic, taking nourishment while so close to potential death.
And it's open pretty much all the time thus a perfect option to drunken late night gyros (plus they have gyros!)
Go and tell 'em blunt sent you.
No wait: better not --you wanna get served, right?

They have great food and extended hours (5:00am to 10:00pm). My fiance and I hit the place at 9:15pm and ordered supper. Most other restaurants we know are closed by this time. It is also located near the belt line in Fitchburg at Fish Hatchery Rd. and Ann St. which is close to where we live.

They now have a website where you can view and search their huge menu and also enter to win a free meal online! The odds of winning are only 1 in 100. Try to get those odds anywhere else!

Main Website:

Menu is located at:

And their mobile website is located at:
