Re: Is it time to boycott Football?

In the specific case of the Badgers, they just have too few quality opponents at home. I don't blame people for not wanting to waste time and money on a glorified scrimmage with a predetermined outcome. And the opponents worth watching like LSU and Notre Dame aren't played at Camp Randall. That's ju...

Re: Multiple Account Posting

This is a subject that I don't concern myself with. Sometimes I'm amused when it's pretty obvious, but it does me no discernible harm. So why should I care? If someone is pleased because they think they're putting something over on people? Back away from the keyboard and get a life.

Re: Stop sucking

There might be a concern about liability. For example the machine isn't properly calibrated and leads me to believe I can legally drive. But it's wrong and I'm hammered and run a school bus load of kids into a ditch.
Awkward.....

I hate to sound like a broken record, but this is another striking example of everyone needing to treat Trump the way that one treats a young child.

This is just another distraction. It doesn't matter at all. It serves his purposes, which is a constant "squirrel".

Re: Absentee voting, Early voting in-person

They're certainly going to try. And despite the odds, I'm going to try like hell to stop them. Like voting today. If the people who are negatively affected by these policies would get off their asses and vote, this country would be much better off right now. Go to your local library and vote. Or ple...

Re: Absentee voting, Early voting in-person

My wife and I voted at the local library. In hopes of realizing Isthmus's pipe dream of the two more liberal candidates surviving the primary, we split our votes between them. We didn't see any other voters while we were there.

Flanders is oddly silent. Let's enjoy it while we can. Unless he is currently being the shit stain I've enjoyed having on Ignore these past few weeks.

Re: Predatory Lending

So, with respect to Grothman, his views towards women and minorities are odious, but his opposition to predatory lending practices is commendable. I'd never vote for the guy. But one thing I can say about him is that his positions stem from sincerely held beliefs, and he is open about them. Compare ...

This could almost be a thread. Annoying Food-Related Terms.
Both of the above would qualify.
